Home Health- Who Helps Who Pays?
Caregivers experience many unexpected changes in their daily lives. Learn what help is available, who can provide it and ways to pay for it. Michael Juceam, Co-Owner, Right At Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, will help in planning for the day that Medicare Home Health Care benefits are not enough. Caregivers providing care for a loved one afflicted with Alzheimer’s Disease or other cognitive impairments are often in need of assistance. Support is available to you and Pam Polowski, Program Specialist for The Alzheimer’s Association, will present the financial, emotional, legal and physical stages of care for those suffering from dementia.

We had a good turn out for our first class of the winter semester. The survey results are not complete as yet, but most everyone is planning on attending the next class on Wednesday, February 25th.
Some of the comments from the survey were: “Great idea – getting information without the “sells pitch”. and another comment was “ the expert educators provided key points everyone should know“
Is our first topic at our January 27th class. Important facts everyone should know about what is and is not covered by social security and long term health care. Get the facts from the experts. There will be a questions and answer session after class.
Age-U-Cation’s winter semester is set. The location will be at the Healthplex at the Institute for Advanced Medicine , Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System, 5880 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, Florida – directions will be inserted on website shortly.

September 8th Educator
On September 8th, our guest educator will be Rhoda Rose Olson. RN, MBA, Life Coach.
Rhoda Rose Olson was raised int he Midwest, in Aurora, Ill. She received her RN diploma from Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO and her Bachelor’s Degree in both Music and Psychology from Valparaiso University, Indiana. She earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBS) from Butler University, Indianapolis, Ind.
She is currently active in Toastmasters International, as the Area 62 Governor and past President of the Sarasota Herald Tribune Toastmasters Club. She also serves as an officer in the Sarasota Herald Tribune Media Group Advanced Toastmaster Club.
Rhoda Rose Olson is the “Bee Happy” Success Coach, a Motivational Speakers, Singer and Pianist. Her popular entertaining one- woman show titled ” LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE” combines songs and humor with an inspirational message and her funny Hat Vignette. She lives in Lakewood Ranch, where she enjoys the beautiful nature of her “green” community.
